Los Angeles Regional
We have just returned from our second regional competition. Thanks to everyone who worked to make the event such a success. Thanks to the repairs and experience we gained in San Diego, we ranked much higher. Our final record was 4-5-1. (W-L-T) We certainly learned a lot for next year. We have some really big plans for 2011. Check back to this site for more information later in the year.

San Diego Regional
Today we competed in our first regional of the season! All members of the team had a great time despite our robot's low ranking. (45th out of 49) We found out during the competition that soccer balls love to wedge themselves under our robot. We caused quite a few penalties during some matches. (We had five penalties in one match)But don't worry! The problem has been fixed; however, it caused us to block off our kicking mechanism. We are planning to improve the kicker during the Long Beach Regional. One highlight of the competition was the presentation of the Woodie Flowers Award to our long-time mentor, Hannah Goldberg. Congratulations Hannah!

Ship Day
Well, the last day of the build season was certainly a scramble. Due to a weak servo, we were forced to add pneumatics at the last minute. And yes, this did result in an all-nighter. Still, we can't wait until San Diego. We were unable to test ANY of our code, but we are confident that our bot will be a worthy opponent on the field. See you in San Diego!
